Ostheimer 啄木鳥

The plant-based colors on this woodpecker are so rich and smooth, and the organic oil finish gives it a soft sheen that feels wonderful in hand. My toddler immediately started "pecking" it along the table edge, just like a real bird. It's beautifully simple but holds so much imaginative play.

The wood grain is so smooth and warm in my hands—you can tell it's been finished with care. My toddler loves the bright red head against the natural wood body, and it's held up well to plenty of chewing so far. Just wish the paint was a touch more vibrant, but honestly it's beautiful as is.

The little bird has a lovely weight and the wood grain is visible through the matte finish. I wish the beak had a bit more detail, but it feels smooth and sturdy in the hand.
