My daughter Sadie is just like the character in this book, and seeing her own daydreaming reflected on the page made her feel so understood. I especially appreciated the note to parents about ADHD, which gave me practical ways to support her.

My son has a hard time focusing in class, and this book made him feel so much less alone. I especially love the note to parents and caregivers at the end—it gave us a way to talk about it together. The way Sadie learns to see her daydreaming as a strength really clicked for him.

The note to parents at the end was a huge help for explaining ADHD to my own child, and the story itself really resonated with us. It’s a bit wordy for a picture book, but the message about seeing a wandering mind as a gift is what we needed.
