獲救袋熊的日記

My rescue dog is a handful, but this book made me feel seen — the author perfectly captures the bossy charm of a creature taking over the household. I especially loved the real-life photographs sprinkled throughout the story.

This little book had me laughing out loud at the wombat's clever "training" tactics, and the real-life backstory adds such a warm, genuine touch. It’s the perfect quick read for anyone who loves animals or needs a smile.

I was completely charmed by this "almost true" story of a real wombat training her humans—the humor feels so authentic after reading the original picture book. The author captures the wombat's voice perfectly, and I love that it’s the true inspiration behind the classic.
