The backmatter is really well done and gives me simple language to explain things I didn't know how to bring up. My 3-year-old actually stays engaged through the whole read.

My toddler asks for this one every night, and I love that the backmatter gives me simple talking points when I run out of words. It's sturdy enough for rough page-turns, though I wish the illustrations were a bit more colorful for his attention span.

I wish the book had a bit more story to keep my toddler engaged, but the expert-backed questions in the backmatter are helpful for guiding our conversations. It's a solid starting point for the topic, just not as interactive as I'd hoped.
