Eva ★★★★★

My three-year-old has requested this one every single night since it arrived — the bit about the sneezy lion getting a hanky from Sir Gadabout always cracks her up. The rhyming text reads aloud so smoothly that I don't even mind the repetition, and the dragon's grumpy expressions are hilarious.

Timothy ★★★★★

The illustrations of the mermaid with a sunburn had my daughter giggling for minutes. This book is a fun, gentle way to introduce imaginative storytelling and caring for others.

My kid was captivated from the first page—the idea of a dragon as an air ambulance for magical creatures is genius. The illustrations of the mermaid getting sunburn cream are her favorite part.
