Scarlett ★★★★★

My toddler demands this one every single night and the sturdy board pages have survived countless throws and chews. The rhythm of the grass, river, and mud sequence gets him giggling before we even reach the bear.

Ava F. ★★★★★

The sound effects in this book make storytime so interactive—my kids love joining in with the "splash splash" and "squelch squerch" as we turn each page. It's held up well through countless readings, too, which is great for a board book.

Christopher ★★★☆☆

My toddler enjoys the repetition in the story, and the board book pages are holding up well to daily reading. I just wish the illustrations were a bit larger for little eyes to really focus on during the squelching parts.
