Charlotte ★★★★★

My four-year-old grandson and I read this together last night, and he immediately wanted to go splash in puddles after the "Grandma and grandchild" scene. The simple, joyful focus on baking cookies and everyday moments really captured what I love about our time together.

Robert D. ★★★★☆

The puddle-splashing pages are where this one shines for us — my six-year-old giggles every time we read them. It's a sweet little book, though I wish it had a bit more story depth to keep the magic going on repeat readings.

Aurora ★★★☆☆

The cookie-baking scene really resonated with my grandkids, but I wish the story spent more time on the puddle-splashing instead of rushing through it. It’s a sweet book, just feels a bit short for the price.
