Grug

My toddler is obsessed with Grug's simple adventures, and I love that the story is short enough to hold her attention before bed. The illustrations are charming and the book feels sturdy for little hands. It's become a nightly staple in our house.

We read this to our little one every night, and he already reaches for the book before we even say a word. The story of Grug coming from a fallen Burrawang tree is so delightfully odd it keeps us both engaged.

My toddler is obsessed with the simple, bold illustrations of Grug emerging from the Burrawang tree—it's become our favorite bedtime story. The sturdy pages have survived multiple readings, and the classic Australian setting feels fresh and charming for a new generation.
