My daughter struggles with social anxiety, but seeing Meesha use her creativity to connect with others really clicked for her. The soft illustrations perfectly capture those big, confusing feelings kids have.

My son was nervous about starting preschool, but reading about Meesha's journey helped him open up about making friends. The paperback feels nice in his small hands, and the warm illustrations kept him engaged through multiple readings. He's asked for it every night since it arrived.

The illustrations are lovely and the message about finding your own way to connect is sweet, but my 4-year-old lost interest halfway through. It's a bit more abstract than other books in the series, so we'll revisit it when she's a little older.
