シュニッツェル・フォン・クラム ワスレナグサ

We were packing for a trip ourselves when I read this to my three-year-old, and she kept pointing at the illustrations saying "they forgot him!" The story captures that frantic, funny feeling of a family scramble perfectly.

My toddler giggles every single time we read about Schnitzel being left behind—the panic in that little dog's face is priceless. It's a sturdy little board book that's survived about fifty readings already, and the rhymes have us both hooked.

My three-year-old laughed so hard at Schnitzel being left behind that we had to read it twice before bed. The rhyming text makes it a joy to read aloud, and the story is short enough for a quick storytime.
