Brian Q. ★★★★★

The way this book explains different types of disabilities through a child's perspective is both gentle and eye-opening. My son asked to read it three times in a row and kept pointing out details in the artwork.

Hannah A. ★★★★☆

My niece loved the vibrant illustrations by Rafael Lopez—the colors really jump off the page. I just wish the story had a bit more depth for older kids, but it's a sweet read for her age.

Sofia ★★★☆☆

The illustrations by Rafael Lopez are absolutely gorgeous, and the book’s message about celebrating differences is important. That said, the text feels a bit heavy on the moralizing side, and my 6-year-old lost interest halfway through, though we did finish it together.
