Customer Reviews (3.7 / 5 · 3 reviews)

Ava ★★★★☆

My son usually wiggles through story time, but he sat completely still for this one. The hardback cover is sturdy enough to survive our nightly readings, and Jimmy’s loud personality really comes through in the illustrations. I just wish the story was a bit longer for the price.

James ★★★★☆

We borrowed this from the library first, but my son loved the story so much I had to buy our own hardback copy. The illustrations are lovely, and the way the parrot Jimmy changes the family dynamic feels very real. Only reason for four stars is the book is a bit shorter than I expected for the price

James O. ★★★☆☆

The illustrations are lovely and the parrot's antics got a few chuckles from my kids, but the story felt a bit short for the price. It's a nice read for a quiet afternoon, just not something they ask for again.
