الحورية الغناء

The circus scenes in this one are wonderfully whimsical, and the rhyming text reads aloud so smoothly that I don't mind the repeats. It's a lovely story about wanting what you have, and the ocean-return ending always gets a happy sigh from my kid.

My three-year-old asks for this every night—she loves the circus scenes and the sparkly fish. The rhyming text makes it fun to read aloud, and the story about wanting to go home really clicks with her.

The story is charming and the illustrations are beautifully detailed, perfect for bedtime reading. My only small complaint is that the paperback binding feels a bit flimsy for a book that will get read over and over.
