الصبي ذو الزهور في شعره

The soft watercolor illustrations perfectly capture the tenderness of a friendship facing illness. I loved how the story handles a difficult emotional topic with such gentle, hopeful creativity.

My son asks to read this one every night now — the way the story handles the friend's quiet kindness without being preachy really got to me. The petals falling across the pages is such a gentle way to show something hard.

The illustrations are really sweet and the story has a gentle, important message about friendship. I just wish the text was a bit longer, it felt over too quickly for the price.
