The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, and I love how the story shows Mirha’s quiet confidence growing page by page. My six-year-old requested it three nights in a row, and we had a real conversation about her own name afterward.

Mirha's journey is so relatable—my own kids immediately started talking about how their names get mispronounced at school. The illustrations are warm and expressive, making the message about self-advocacy feel natural and not preachy. We've already read it three times this week.

My daughter asked me to read this to her three times in a row the night it arrived — the illustrations are so warm and expressive, and the story about Mirha speaking up for her name really clicked with her. It's the kind of book that starts a real conversation.
