The rhyming really makes this a joy to read aloud, and my kids remember the story after just a couple of readings. It’s quickly become our go-to bedtime pick for the week.

My three-year-old was captivated by the story of the animals helping the witch, and she loves pointing out the frog on each page. The rhythm of the rhymes makes it a joy to read aloud, even for the fifth time in a row.

The rhyming text is so much fun, my toddler already knows all the animals by heart. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the pages feel a little thin for little hands that like to turn them.
