As a grandparent myself, I got a little teary-eyed reading how Daisy wins over her grumpy Yeh-Yeh—the hardback feels sturdy enough to become a family favorite for years.

My kids love the part where Daisy tries to cheer up Yeh-Yeh with different activities, and the hardback cover has held up through multiple bedtime readings. This is such a sweet way to introduce kids to meeting a grandparent from another culture.
